Vote4MyStory was started by Jana and Jason Matthews, two aspiring writers wanting to market their books, short stories and screen plays. During their seven years as published writers, both have seen and experienced the obstacles writers face in gaining exposure, name recognition and just getting their words read by people and agents. In the spring of 2008, while attending a writing seminar where they were in the company of several hundred other aspiring writers (all facing the same challenge), an idea was born. It was an idea for a means that would help writers get their stories out there for others to read, while at the same time being fun, original and affordable. Vote4MyStory was born.
