We are Jason and Jana Matthews, the founders of Vote4MyStory. Like many aspiring writers, we faced plenty of adversity in figuring out how to get our words and ideas into the eyes and minds of others. Getting publishers and agents to read our stuff seemed nearly impossible and became a source of much frustration.

In the spring of 2008, we attended a writing seminar where we were in the company of several hundred other aspiring writers, all facing the same challenges. The synergy of that group must have entered our subconscious, because before the weekend was over, a beautiful idea was born. It was an idea for a means that would help authors get their stories out there for others to read, while at the same time being fun, original and affordable. The idea of Vote4MyStory quickly became a reality.

Jana Matthews is the author of The Journey Within, a wealth coach, a spiritual counselor and a Theta Healer. She is currently writing her second book, Plugging In; The Art Of Attracting Unlimited Abundance, a guide that goes along with her 6 week course on better manifesting.

Jason Matthews is the author of The Big Bang; Notes From Looking Within, a new age novel about creating a universe and searching throughout it for planets with life. He has also written 2 screenplays, a children's book and is currently writing his next novel, Jim's Life, the sequel to The Big Bang.

So, the founders are authors too, looking for creative solutions to help others get their words to the masses.
