Rules and Regulations

-Entries must be author's own work. No plagiarism. (See Terms and Conditions) -Only stories submitted by individual authors, 18 years and older, are allowed. -Entries must be sent via email. Sorry, no snail mail. -E-books for categories will be put together on a first come first serve basis.

-Once the category is filled up, that e-book will be made live and available for purchase and voting. Within 3 months or 90 days, whichever is longer, the voting will be tallied and prize winners will be announced.

-Entries must be in proper format. We accept Microsoft Word (.doc) and Microsoft Works (.wps) documents, Adobe PDF's (.pdf) and Rich Text Format (.rtf).

-BE SURE OF YOUR WORD COUNT! Entries exceeding the word limits will be disqualified. Type the exact word count (counting every single word, except the title and contact information) at the top of the entry near the title. (Most writing programs do this so you don't have to manually count each word.)

-Payments must be made through Google Checkout. No personal checks.

Judging and Notification

-Entries will be voted on by the people who purchase the e-book. Their decisions are final.

-Winners will be notified by email within 30 days after voting is tallied and within 120 days of e-book going live. All winners from each category will be notified of future winner's collections and asked if they would like to participate in them, as well as for possible hardbound versions and for the Super Grand Story Prize.

-The following are not permitted to enter the contest: owners, employees, agents and direct family members of Vote4MyStory.com.
