How It Works

Simply submit your story (or stories) of 2,001 words or less into the category of your choice. As soon as that category fills up with 33 entries, your e-book goes live and is available for sale. E-books sell for just $4.95 apiece. E-books are wonderful alternatives to printed paper books! Once your e-book is live, you will be notified by email that it is available for sale. Let others know - friends, family, anyone you can think of that you have a book out there to help you gain exposure, publicity and the chance to win lots of money. Whether you win or not, your story, name and website will get noticed!

Just think about it - we, you and 32 other authors each share a vested interest in promoting your e-book. The fact that all of us are working together, helping with sales gives your book the chance to be read by thousands of readers. Someday, hopefully millions of readers!

Every time an e-book is sold, the buyer receives a link to vote for their favorite stories. After 3 months from going live, the votes are tallied, the winners are announced and the prize moneys are awarded. Winners of preliminary rounds receive $500 for first place, $200 for second place. Winners also receive a free month as one of our featured writers. Your odds of winning a prize in the first round alone are better than 1 out of 17. Those are some great odds! We think you'll be hard pressed to find a contest with better odds of winning. If you do, let us know about it.

Remember though, the true value is in having your story read by many people. Even for people who don't end up winning - your stories are going to read by hundreds, if not thousands of people. Your name and website will be marketed to hundreds, if not thousands of people. Regardless of the prize money, you will receive tremendous value just by submitting a story!

All story winners are then eligible to enter the special Winner's Categories Contests, possible hardbound versions and the Super Grand Story Prize Money of $3,000.00 dollars. (USD)

Winner's categories work the same way. All 1st and 2nd place winners are eligible. There is a slightly larger entry fee, $49.95. There will be 33 entries from mixed categories. The prize money for this round will be $1,000 for 1st, and $400 for 2nd place.

The winners from this round are then eligible for possible hardbound versions, which we would love to do, and the Super Grand Story Prize, the very best of the best collection. These 33 entries will be offered a $99 submission and competing for a winner-take-all grand prize of $3,000.
